Christian now only has to focus on Alice's safety, he didn't want to lose Alice after losing 2 people of their group.
Alice shudders walking down a dark hallway beside Christian holding his hand, her hands cold as ice.
I can't believe this is happening to us, Alice thought as her face felt like it was getting sliced with sharp knives.
Christian stops after a while seeing a white light shining in a room next to them, he looks in the room then quickly looks out.
The light dims out.
Alice hears groaning in the room Christian had glances too and she peeks in and her eyes slowly widen, seeing the room empty and clean.
"I don't understand....if all the other rooms are covered in blood, why isn't this one?"
Christian looks behind them and his eyes widen with horror.
"Uh....Alice..."
Alice takes a quick glance at Christian only moving her eyes.
"Yes Christian?"
Christian points behind them seeing dark shadows coming towards them slowly.
"I think we better run for it..."
Alice had went into the room and she tucks an item in her coat.
"OK."
Christian grabs her picking her up and he rushes down the hallway as fast as he can.
He soon trips dropping Alice and he looks behind him, panting with exhaustion.
"What the hell was that!?"
Alice is holding a box in her hands, not hearing Christians exclamation.
Christian notices it has gone silent. He looks at Alice.
"Alice?"
Alice has thrown the box to her side and she holds a knife in her hands. She quickly hides it in her coat and she looks at Christian.
"Yes?"
Christian gets up and grabs Alice's hand pulling her to her feet.
"You alright? that was quiet a tumble we took there....you did a couple of flips.."
Alice nods.
"OK...."
Christian looks around and shakes a bit hearing groans.
"This place is so crazy..."
Alice looks around also and blood falls on her shoulder.
She looks at the blood and her eyes widen a little. She slowly looks at the ceiling.
"OH MY GOD!"
Christian looks up seeing thousands of dead bodies on the ceiling.
"What the hell!?"
Alice starts to cry, hugging Christian's arm tight.
Christian looks at Alice and tries to calm her nerves.
"It's ok Alice......"
Alice clenches her fists and growls tears falling.
I'm sick and tired of him lying to me! Alice thought in anger. He doesn't understand at all.
Christian rubs her arms a bit sitting down in a room grabbing a nearby blanket that was on a overturned hospital bed.
"Let's try to get some rest Alice...it's been a long day for us..."
Alice looks up at him being covered by the hospital blanket. It's a bit cozy i suppose, Alice thought snuggling into Christian's chest.
Christian hugs her close not planning to let her go at any time.
"Get some sleep..."
Alice notices he has fallen asleep almost 2 seconds after he said his sentence.
She looks up at the ceiling her eyes wide open.
"Soon there will be none of us left.....and someone will make sure of it."
She closes her eyes falling into a deep drowsiness.
